Methodology & Verification Policy

DataProxyBench is an independent, primary-source benchmark directory. All pricing, tier minimums, and token rates are checked directly against published vendor documentation and rate cards. Promotional coupon codes, unmetered marketing claims, and unverified third-party discounts are excluded. Rates are checked periodically and updated immediately upon published vendor revisions.

Proxy price-basis policy: where an official source explicitly labels a list price, the comparison shows that list price and places any current promotion in the terms column. Where the source does not label the basis, the row says so rather than inferring that the published rate is a list price. Volume and term discounts are not used as the main comparison rate unless their basis is explicitly shown.
